  • Contact form submissions — name, email address, and message. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (responding to enquiries).
  • Instructor matching requests — name, email, phone number, postcode, and lesson preferences. Lawful basis: contract performance (matching you with an instructor).
  • Quiz lead magnet — name and email address when you request our free PDF guide. Lawful basis: consent.
  • Technical/analytical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, via Google Analytics 4. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (website improvement). GA4 data is anonymised where possible.

4. Who we share your data with

  • Driving instructors — if you submit an instructor request, your contact details and postcode are shared with a matched DVSA ADI to arrange your lessons.
  • Email service providers — we use SMTP via our domain email host to send and receive messages.
  • Google Analytics — anonymised usage data for website analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Legal obligations — we may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of others.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Contact and instructor enquiries: 2 years from the date of submission, then deleted.
  • Lead magnet sign-ups: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Analytics data: subject to Google Analytics retention settings (default 14 months).

6. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:
